I'm a renter and yes we've done a lot to sprouse things up around here. December marks 1 year living here and everyone already thinks we have the best decorated apartment 🙌🏽😁
I really want to take it to another design level and I need design friends who can help me do that.
Loveeeee your channel so much! My fiancé and I are renting and our landlord has allowed us to paint. We had to get the approval on the color and luckily it all worked out. I am in the decor process and your videos have given me a lot of ideas. The symmetrical theme in our bedroom is all inspired by you! You’re awesome💕
I'm a renter and I paint my walls wherever I go, I also switch out knobs and light fixtures whatever it takes to make the place reflex my taste and I've never had a problem with my landlord cause I put it all back. I love your decor style.
Thx Great advice🙂
I have a tip for renters who hate those vertical blinds on sliding balcony doors and some windows.. a pair of NoNo Brackets. No drilling or damaging walls at all! They fit into the blinds head rail and then you just place the curtain/drapery rod in the NoNo brackets (of course take down and store the blinds for when you move). There’s a little decorative screw to tighten the bracket so the rod won’t shift. My curtains look SO much better than the blinds!
I’m a renter here who values your advice! Your videos are so much fun and very informative! Thanks for doing what you do and keep making videos! How about one on how to group large pieces on a wall? I’m currently having some issues with that ❤️
Those removable hooks are an actual nightmare. They almost always peel the paint and plaster off. It's too easy to patch a small nail hole. You can buy patch for $1.54 for a small tub a plastic putty knife for 99 cents and then use paper towels to wipe the excess. 🙄 Seriously if you did arts and crafts as a kid, patching a wall is like that.
I want so desperately to find a good interior design channel hosted by someone who isn't... like this. You know some blonde obsessed with her own beauty who has a squeaky voice and a bottomless budget. You guys know any better channels?
This is so unhelpful. The first tip is to paint the walls, which most landlords won't let you do. Everything else is so obvious; "buy a rug," "buy a bookcase." And all the ways you suggest to use the printer you're promoting are so basic and unhelpful...
I think its different when you live in an apartment that is run by an LLC property management company vs a single run Landlord/Slumlord who can be much more restrictive on what you can do to your place.
Just moved into a 1927 bungalow last week. It's gorgeous and weird and quirky but I hate the bathroom. I mean I hate it and they won't let me change anything. Some fool put up a Hospital soap dispenser and they won't let me take it down I'm pretty good with design but I have no idea how to get over that one. I had emergency eye surgery so my boyfriend had to make the final decisions when it came to choosing our place. I literally could not see for weeks so it is what it is. Wish me luck
I am renting a ok apartment. I love the living room and bed room. But I hate my bathroom and kitchen. Both of these rooms are small. My kitchen is extremely small. I am truly lost on how to decorate my apartment. Please help!!!!
Jesus, someone should let them know that there are other colours than white. Also, hard to believe he had much input into the design, as it mostly looks like a very feminine apartment in style and theme. Granted, they've picked well for the objects used to decorate and put the budget to good use.
We are renting and the living room is suuuuuper long. On top of that, the walls have wood boards that are about 4 feet high off the ground (great for cleaning but makes the room look even longer). I am having trouble thinking of how to decorate the walls. I would have wanted some large art pieces but the boards kind of bisects the space.
Download the appropriate system image for your device below, then unzip it to a safe directory.
Connect your device to your computer over USB.
Start the device in fastboot mode with one of the following methods:
Using the adb tool: With the device powered on, execute:
Using a key combo: Turn the device off, then turn it on and immediately hold down the relevant key combination for your device.
If necessary, unlock the devices bootloader using one of the following methods:
If you are updating a Nexus or Pixel device that is manufactured in 2015 or later (for example, a Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL device), run this command:
For Pixel 2: To flash the bootloader, Pixel 2s boot loader must be updated to at least Oreo MR1s version first. This may be done by applying an over-the-air (OTA) update, or sideloading a full OTA with the instructions on that page.
For Pixel 2 XL only with loader version prior to TMZ20a: the critical partitions may also need to be unlocked before flashing. The unlock can be performed with this command, and should NOT be done on other devices:
If you are updating an older device, run this command:
The target device will show you a confirmation screen. (This erases all data on the target device.)
See Unlocking the bootloader for more detailed instructions.
Open a terminal and navigate to the unzipped system image directory.
