James came to see Gentleman & Rogues Club to get his beard trimmed. Key word trim there, he doesn't want to take out much of the length even though the bottom bits are a little transparent.

Beardbrand is a men’s grooming company that is helping men keep on growing by providing education and tools for urban beardsmen to master their morning routine. We’ve found that confidence starts with self investment, and allows men to do great things for their families, co-workers, and community. We are working to break down the negative stereotypes that surround bearded men, and show the world it’s the man who matters, not the way he looks.

I've grown a beard a few times. Where Ive a natural kink, it never seems to look good, only for a few days after I've had it trimmed.
I've tried growing it out & just get frustrated with it after a year of trying so I've sadly had to get rid of it.
As we approach winter again I'm thinking of trying yet again, it's been 6 weeks so far.
In the shower use head & shoulders anti-breakage shampoo twice, then the same type of tres semme....when you get out brush up & out, then center down lightly followed by the sides. That should shape & keep for the entire day.
Adjust brushing pattern as needed, sometimes either growth of just constant brushing the same way requires a "tease" in another direction until the "out of shape" look is corrected, beard usually adapts within 3 days to a week & you'll keep that brush pattern til it starts happening again. No need for any oils or gel, etc. Mine was just about two feet in length trimmed it to around two or three inches for a bit to let the skin rehab then grew it back to +/-eight inches. The care needs remained the same from the short length to present.
I've had it for about 21 years now & only got the care down correct in the past 7 or so. Used to just let it grow til it got like this guys, all transparent for the past few inches so I would tie up or braid it. That's a mistake because the hair takes on the shape of the braid or elastic long after it's out so I don't dare do that anymore.
Am I the only one that thinks this customer is a babe? Then he said girth is better than length!!! What about both!!!??!!!!?!!! if you ain't got both it ain't worth having imo. Not a size queen though!
I wish people would listen to the professionals and let them work their magic instead of trying to hold on to something that shouldn’t be!! That trim was truly needed, now his beard looks full and amazing!! Good job.
Ridiculously handsome man with an amazing beard!
I can grow a pretty great mustache and goatee area. But sadly, my cheek area is thin and made even worse because my now gray beard, is not coarse and fairly straight, no curl.
