I wanted to say ty to you. I started on Posh mark in May 2018.
I made my first sale Sept 3rd and this week I have earned $580 since Friday with all your advise.
It's been amazing. Ty for all advice. :)
Great video! Was very helpful in not only finding photos but also the exact item name. Do you have any advice on how to determine the style # on Victoria's Secret labels? I've tried every number on the label and can't seem to find the photos/ item exact names. TIA
I purchase a lot of VS during their semi annual sales. You are able to buy at the first price, and return it in 2 weeks to get the difference with the most recent price which by then has hopefully been marked down twice. Best to do towards the end of the sale when the panties end up at $4.99 and bras for $15.99. In the meantime stay tuned to the website where quite a few of the items will be on the site for sale as well and you can use those stock photos. Hope that helps a little!
BoonDoggle Bliss that's the problem-nothing says "style" or "cut" The tag has 3 lines with different types of numbers. First is all numbers, second starts with RN & third starts with ID. I'm tried searching using all the lines and describing with as much details as possible- nothing I'm hoping to finding the names of the items more than the photos. Thanks!
Agree 100% with you. As a commercial photographer I cringe at people using stock photos because 9/10 times people have not gotten the permission from the the company who legally owns the right to those images. Just don't lol. I charge for use of my images as its my labor, expertise, equipment /lightening etc to product the image. Not to mention the time I spent doing the editing.
Alrighty, I have a very basic question, and I sound silly asking..but I'm definitely not a technological social media type person! In the beginning of the video you went over Poshmark's policies on using other people's photos, so then what is a stock photo? Let's say I'm selling a brand new blush..can go ok that blushes website, screenshot a pic of the swatch, and put it on Poshmark? I have some items I want to sell from Zulily that I never wore..can I go back to my Zulily account screenshot the pic from my order and post that? I realize finding clothes, especially vintage, can be difficult online, and your tips were awesome! So helpful..I think I just need a little super basic 101 in what pics I can use without having copyright issues. It sounds like you're searching for photos online, so therefore they are someone else's photo. Maybe they just mean not to copy another Poshers photo? As you can tell I'm lost lol, any help would be appreciated!!! 💜😊
Hi love your videos. Question for you since I’m new to Poshmark how do you ship a purse. I have a banda bag I used once and paid $225 for it. Want to sell it but never sold on Poshmark. What kind of box/shipping way to ship thanks 🙏🏻
colleen Kennedy Hello, the post office has free Priority Mail boxes that should accommodate. All those boxes are also available for you to order for free - they take a week or so to arrive. Outside of that, you can use any box really, as long as it doesn’t have any other shipping labels on it. Hope that helps.
Hey Anna thank you for your tips ! ❤️ I have recently started a Poshmark closet and have learned so much from others . I have a diy, Haul, abs life vlog channel if you would like to stop over 😊 Happy Easter!!!🐰
Hello 😊I sell on Poshmark and I have looked up so many numbers on the tags and wasted hours of time unable to find it the way you explain. Trust me I’ve been trying to do this for the last six years selling but a lot of times nothing comes up it’s very frustrating isn’t it?? ☹️ Sometimes I think to myself I put in all this work trying to find one item and I maybe make $7 on an item... haaaa. Wonder sometimes if it’s worth it. Ya know?!😂
I actually always do selfie/modeled photos since depop encourages modeled clothing pics, and that is wear most of my clothing sales come from rather than postmark, but I think it's because when you see it on someone you can trust the quality and fit of it, usually stock photos make me wary when there are no additional photos of the actual item.
I've also found that modeling helps sell unbranded clothes/thrifted items and less popular brands since they're less trustworthy of quality when its just a flatlay and when you follow someone who styles their closet and you like their fashion sense, it makes me want to buy from them.
I prefer to buy from modeled/selfie listings! Also my closet is @idloveyounow :)
Hi Anna, Funny I have that shirt you are wearing in my Posh Closet. Looks waaaay better on you than on my mannequin, you make it come to life....and now you say modeling sells better..hmm. food for thought. Just learned about the Bluetooth Selfie remote to make selfies easier.....
As always, you rock. Thanks for the great detailed info to inspire and help.
MAYBE a Video on Time Mgmt of how to do all the Posh stuff more efficiently :) ...the 30mm doesn't include sourcing, cleaning it all, all the sharing from the Feed, inventory tabulating, etc. the reality of what we need to do to be successful with daily sales.
The “boutique effect” probably started in retail. My local TJ Maxx still has a problem with people buying expensive clothes and removing the tags, and then sewing them back onto a cheaper garment and returning them for a refund.
With flat lay, one is unable to see how the garment hangs. I never use it for that reason. Also, most of us do not have a model's body, but we can relate to a "normal" body type, that's why the selfie is more appealing.
Funny, my two least favorite item photos are selfies and stock. Selfies, firstly, because it completely turns me off seeing someone wearing the very item i may consider buying from them, (kind of like i wont buy used upholstered furniture or stuffed fabrics such as decor pillows - no idea what may have taken place or what's lurking within, as with any particular body wearing the very piece of clothing they'd be sending me, yuck, no, sorry, gross) - and, secondly, because the whole selfie photo culture is beyond ad nauseam and tacky to me.
Even while i realize the clothing item may be pre-owned, i dont want to see someone wearing the piece i'd be receiving any more than I'd ask someone at a store to try on clothing for me i was interested in buying. Our body types vary so much it's no great or even good indicator of how the heck the thing would look on me. Also, i noticed for years on ebay , women modeling their clothing to sell try to look especially sexy but ive found more often appear raunchy. Ive seen women with over-tanned, crinkly, shriveling looking skin, with fake looking boobs, showing off the fake cleavage and leathery decolatage area ...gross. They may have only been in their late 30s to 40s, but total turn-off, but i guess they think theyre hot to trot. I found most "selfie" photos on ebay to be desperate looking.
Stock photos have the same aspect of being generic, mass produced goods to me so i'm much less likely to be drawn to sellers using them. And, again, most of us aren't 5'8" human coat hangers, and probably sheer delusion persuades buyers.
Clear photos on most types of mannequinnes with enough photos to show all angles and features is much more appealing to me.
As a seller, I would consider stock if i had multiples of the same item , in different sizes/colors.
The BinPickers are very successful resellers and just mentioned in a vid they dont use any special lighting or other "must haves" in their photos.
I like many flat lays and hangered items and actually prefer them in being able to determine if an item would look good on me than on bodies that most likely have zilch to do with my body type. I can usually tell in stores if it'll be a good fit, just by the item on a hanger. We all know we can try on many different clothing pieces and one looks perfectly flattering and another, total dud. Well, that fit variation applies to everyone so why would we be compelled to go by how it fits another individual, professional model or not.
Hi I sell on ebay. I really like selling on facebook. Yesterday I sold a necklace for $230.00. I ask for an etransfer of $10.00 to hold. They must pick-up at my condo. I tell them there is lots of security and cameras so they don't have to worry. Purses, shoes and jewelry do well on facebook. I want to start selling on instagram next. You're my favorite seller on youtube. You have the most fun with your videos and I find myself laughing out loud. Ebay drives me crazy somtimes...yesterday they took one of my purses down because they said it was fake. It wasn't.
Kathy Glassford stock photos have done well for me. Whenbi see someone model something I can get discouraged if I don't have a body like theirs but I'm yes and no on modeling as a buyer and seller. Until I can get a manequin, I'm stuck w flat lays and hangings. I try my best to make them look nice but I look back on my older flat lays and yikes, so messy.

For Pixel 2: To flash the bootloader, Pixel 2s boot loader must be updated to at least Oreo MR1s version first. This may be done by applying an over-the-air (OTA) update, or sideloading a full OTA with the instructions on that page.
For Pixel 2 XL only with loader version prior to TMZ20a: the critical partitions may also need to be unlocked before flashing. The unlock can be performed with this command, and should NOT be done on other devices:
If you are updating an older device, run this command:
The target device will show you a confirmation screen. (This erases all data on the target device.)
