I wouldn't recommend hiding routers, modems and your computer inside of the box, because they were designed to be exposed to air flow to keep the components cool. Overheating will cause premature failure and even fire.
these hacks came in handy for sure!!!! the white board one was great, but i just threw out my mini white board because my son wrote on it with perm. marker...so my fav is the rug... i need that for my kid's room
I thought IKEA has the "same" hide the cords in box. You can just buy from them. The idea here is more of hiding the entire router/modem. I think you will need ventilation. Plus I find the box you used a bit too big, doesn't help if the person already has limited desk space.
I like "the tag for which cable for what" best, the rest I knew awhile ago and/or have already been using them. I like to learn new easy affordable ways to organise my life. Keep them coming & God bless :-)
Love the idea using the box to hide the router & cables. I went to homegoods when I was in America last November & it was AMAZING!!! I bought loads & got it shipped back home lol best shop ever! Love the idea with the rug & I'm gonna try it out on the one is spare room as its cheap & constantly moves which is so annoying! I'm too afraid to do it on my living room rug as it was really expensive. Love the video Sharrah 👍
Awesome tips! You guys are so witty, it's amazing! These diy's and decorating ideas just seem to come so naturally to you. That's when you know it is God given talent. Keep up the ingenious work and thanks for sharing!!
Storing the brushes there yes, but drying them upright like that I don't recommend... Since they would be damp, the water can get into the ferrule and it can loosen the glue up making the brush loose hair...
Download the appropriate system image for your device below, then unzip it to a safe directory.
Connect your device to your computer over USB.
Start the device in fastboot mode with one of the following methods:
Using the adb tool: With the device powered on, execute:
Using a key combo: Turn the device off, then turn it on and immediately hold down the relevant key combination for your device.
If necessary, unlock the devices bootloader using one of the following methods:
If you are updating a Nexus or Pixel device that is manufactured in 2015 or later (for example, a Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL device), run this command:
For Pixel 2: To flash the bootloader, Pixel 2s boot loader must be updated to at least Oreo MR1s version first. This may be done by applying an over-the-air (OTA) update, or sideloading a full OTA with the instructions on that page.
For Pixel 2 XL only with loader version prior to TMZ20a: the critical partitions may also need to be unlocked before flashing. The unlock can be performed with this command, and should NOT be done on other devices:
If you are updating an older device, run this command:
The target device will show you a confirmation screen. (This erases all data on the target device.)
See Unlocking the bootloader for more detailed instructions.
Open a terminal and navigate to the unzipped system image directory.
