Great job, just a word of advise . its best to paint your planks first instead after installation and that is because as you can see your lines fade because of the fresh paint that made its way in some of the gaps. so some of the lines don't look consistent... But great video guys! thumbs up
I really like the wall and the whole room look (similar to what we have in our daughters room). I watch heaps/all of your clips ... so ... Just wondered how your mum (mom) coped with the lack of symmetry of lamps and pictures either side of bed :-) LOL!
Thing is if you left it the bare wood ,, the spaces between the planks would not be as high lighted which is what gives the wall that --- look ! God I grew up in a time when if you could see the planks in the walls you were living in a shack
We are thinking of doing this around our fireplace in our living room space. Many great ideas here in our presentation. And maybe a feature wall in our bedroom behind our headboard for a nostalgic look. TFS. See my Christmas videos of my villages too. I did "LIKE" yours. I hope you do likewise.
On all Robeson videos, would it be possible to start including estimated resource costs (time, materials, etc.) of projects please? That way the viewer can plan accordingly when trying to replicate. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Looks great but I really wish you would have provided more info on the 6 inch plywood planks. How thick are they? Did you buy a 4'x8' plywood panel and have the store cut it down? I'm having a real hard time finding the right product online.
Shiplap can be hard to find sometimes. They have it at Lowe's in planks both rough and more finished which is already whitewashed. Interestingly though, the white ones were not in the lumber section, but with the decorative wood panels that are finished. Good luck!
You should keep a sharp knife and a wet rag handy while you're painting. Use the knife to run through the spaces that get filled by the paint. This will keep the spaces between the boards even all the way across the room and not have some of the spaces seem to disappear. The wet rag will allow easy wiping of the rag between rows. This is how I did it on my kitchen wall and it came out great.
+Paul B If you know what kind of wood you want, and take all the measurements Lowe's will cut the wood for you. You can rent most tools at any hardware store for a minimal price. Good luck with your project.
Very nicely done. It would be even better if you indicted the type of planking used and where it can be bought since it looks to be a specialty item. An info update would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!
Cool look, Im thinking about trying it out on two full, facing walls in my "Pseudo -Office- ArtStudio".. Pseu-dio? But yeah I have two opposing walls that are quite possibly going to be in frame. so this would for sure add some mych needed class and character to an ApaRTmeNt! so my question, what changes can I make from your Original instruction to retro fit this to apartment living where i can make huge changes. And if i plan on having a mounted monitor so tv on the wall should i pre drdill any holes needed, or just drill and mount normally has if the shiplap facade was the actual wall? thank you and sorry im a talker!!! ;D
I love this look! I am planning on doing this in a guest room. I have never seen plywood in small planks and so thin. Where did you purchase it? It was beautiful un-painted as well. Must have been some nice type of plywood. Please let us know.

Connect your device to your computer over USB.
Start the device in fastboot mode with one of the following methods:
Using the adb tool: With the device powered on, execute:
Using a key combo: Turn the device off, then turn it on and immediately hold down the relevant key combination for your device.

If you are updating a Nexus or Pixel device that is manufactured in 2015 or later (for example, a Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL device), run this command:
For Pixel 2: To flash the bootloader, Pixel 2s boot loader must be updated to at least Oreo MR1s version first. This may be done by applying an over-the-air (OTA) update, or sideloading a full OTA with the instructions on that page.
For Pixel 2 XL only with loader version prior to TMZ20a: the critical partitions may also need to be unlocked before flashing. The unlock can be performed with this command, and should NOT be done on other devices:
If you are updating an older device, run this command:
The target device will show you a confirmation screen. (This erases all data on the target device.)
See Unlocking the bootloader for more detailed instructions.
Open a terminal and navigate to the unzipped system image directory.
