Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3 NEW THAILAND FOOD & TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY! All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet. BBQ Seafood in Thailand. Cooking and Eating Thai Food in Thailand Vlog. This is a meal my family and I had recently at an all you can eat BBQ seafood restaurant in Krabi Thailand. The restaurant is right behind the international in Krabi Town and the seafood was delicious! They serve a wide variety of shellfish (clams, scallops, mussels, bugs, crabs, prawns and shrimps) as well as other seafood. You can choose what you want from the seafood buffet and then you cook it yourself on the barbecue they provide. You get 2 hours to help yourself to the seafood buffet. Unfortunately there is no lobster, but the range of other seafood and the price certainly makes up for it. It’s pretty hard to beat a Thai seafood barbecue! The restaurant is on Google Maps at: https://goo.gl/maps/BQfNTxiPtPv Business Hours: The BBQ Seafood Buffet is in Krabi Town and is open 6pm from pm till 10pm every day (the restaurant is a Thai dim sum restaurant every morning from 6am till 12pm). The meal we had in the video was 796 baht (including drinks). The restaurant is well located, clean, and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I’d definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in Krabi Thailand and you love a good all you can eat seafood buffet. Check out my channel for lots more Thailand food and travel videos. Videos from Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui, Bangkok and lots of other parts of Thailand! This is the best all you can eat seafood buffet in Krabi that I’ve discovered so far, but rest assured, I’ll be searching for more! Seafood buffets are in a dining class of their own and this one has an extensive selection of extremely fresh seafood and shellfish. Surprisingly there were no long lines and crowds, but the restaurant is fairly new. After eating at this seafood buffet we sure felt like we got our money’s worth! Thai Hot Pot: Jim Jum. Cooking & Eating Delicious Thai Food in Thailand จิ้มจุ่ม จุ่มจิ้ม

Thai Hotpot: Jim Jum Traditional Hot Pot in Thailand. NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY. Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3. Jim jum (or Chim chum) is a traditional style of Thai hot pot (AKA steamboat) served in a clay pot over a bed of hot coals. The pot contains a delicious broth, made from soup stock, cilantro, lemongrass, kaffir lime, chili, galangal and Thai onion. It tastes a little like tom yum soup. Delicious morsels of seafood, meat and vegetables are dropped into the broth and it’s served with tasty dipping sauces. Jim jum is very popular in Thailand and it’s one of my favourite Thai foods. Jim jum is a really sociable way to eat, you can relax with your friends, cooking and eating while you chat. You can usually buy mixed platters of food to add to the jim jum, or individual plates of food. Some of the ingredients include morning glory, Chinese cabbage, mushrooms, Thai holy basil, thinly sliced meats (such as pork, chicken, beef and liver), eggs, and glass noodles. It is really delicious and well worth trying when you travel Thailand. Videos from Krabi, Ao Nang, Phuket, Bangkok and lots of other parts of Thailand! Thai cuisine and street food in Thailand has taken influences from many other styles of Asian cooking, including Chinese food and there are a variety of types of hot pot in Thailand. Hotpot buffets are in a dining class of their own and this one has an extensive selection of extremely fresh seafood, shellfish and meat. Surprisingly there were no long lines and crowds, but the restaurant is fairly new. After eating at this hotpot buffet we sure felt like we got our money’s worth! New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3. Thai Street Food in Thailand. Barbecued eggs, one of my favorite street foods in Thailand. You can find these barbecued eggs, known as kai song kreung or kai ping song kreung (ไข่ปิ้งทรงเครื่อง in Thai), all over Thailand: at parks, festivals, markets and also on the streets. They are authentic Thai cuisine and are very popular with Thai people. To make them, the raw egg is emptied, and the contents mixed with pepper, a Thai stock powder (ros dee) and Maggi sauce. Once mixed the contents are placed back into the egg shell and barbecued over charcoal. The vendors often can be found walking the streets of Thailand, carrying the barbecue with the eggs as well as other food items, and honking a little horn to let people know that they’re coming. The eggs are delicious, and are definitely worth trying! Thai Street Food is really delicious, it’s some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand. It’s a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. This video was filmed in Krabi in the south of Thailand. Thailand food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for 3 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Teaching English in Thailand. A day in the life of an ESL / TESOL / EFL Teacher. Part 1

09:14
New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3. Teaching English in Thailand. A day in the life of an ESL / TESOL / EFL Teacher. Part 1. What is a typical day for an English teacher in Thailand? This video will show you. You've completed your tefl course, got your ESL, TESOL or EFL certification, you're tired of teaching online, and you want to teach English overseas or teach abroad? Why not teach English in Thailand? Thailand has a warm climate, friendly people, great food, Thai culture is fascinating, and there are plenty of teaching jobs in Thailand. A typical day working at a Thai school from start to finish might involve greeting parents in the morning, attending assembly & singing the national anthem, then it's into the classroom for English classes. A few hours of teaching then it's lunch time, and then back to the classroom. A typical day might involve around 4-5 hours of teaching and then the rest of the day is lesson planning and marking books. Cultural days, excursions and sports activities break things up a bit sometimes as well and are a lot of fun. Check out my video: Teaching English in Thailand Part 2 for more about them. Teaching English in Thailand is not an easy job, but it is very rewarding. To be qualified to teach in Thailand you need a degree and ESL, TESOL or EFL certification. Finding teaching jobs in Thailand is difficult to do online from overseas, it's much more effective to come here with your CV and door knock schools asking if they have any teaching jobs for an English teacher. Looking at teaching abroad? Have a look into teaching in Thailand!

Best restaurant & accommodation in Krabi, Thailand - The Frog and Catfish. 15 minutes from Ao Nang

05:53
The best restaurant & accommodation I have found in the Ao Nang and Krabi Thailand area (15 minutes from Ao Nang, Krabi Town and Klong Muang), actually it's the best restaurant I have ever found, anywhere. Their reviews on TripAdvisor tell a similar story. The food is absolutely delicious, some say it's the best restaurant in Krabi, and I would agree with them. The prices are great, the staff are awesome and the restaurant has to be seen to be believed. The gardens are amazing and you can even swim there. It is a true slice of Paradise! And it's a great wedding or honeymoon venue. There are plenty of choices on the menu - authentic Thai food and Western foods are both available. The chef, Bua, is so passionate about her work, everything I have tried from the menu is absolutely superb! All of their staff go above and beyond to ensure their customers have an amazing experience. They do luxury accommodation cheap as well, the best I have found in Krabi. They can organise tours as well - kayaking, elephant treks, Island hopping and Thai cooking classes are all available. But the place has everything you could want and is so relaxing and beautiful that you may not want to leave. It's about 15 minutes out of Ao Nang in Din Daeng Noi (not far from Ban Nong Thale/Ban Khao Klom), but it is so worth the trip. Their website is www.frogandcatfishkrabi.com If you are looking for an amazing experience with a personal touch go and see Bua and Gary at the Frog and Catfish ... tell them Darren from Australia sent you! Visiting The Frog and Catfish Restaurant is definitely one of the best things to do in Krabi Thailand! New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3. Tha Pom (or more properly known as Pa Phru Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam) is a mangrove area about 35km from Krabi Town, not far from Ao Luek. It has a board walk through the mangroves and some jungle, and the mangroves have the most amazing crystal clear water! The water is so clear that you can see to the bottom of the streams. It's a nice place for an hour or 2, or longer. It's not too touristy, but it's very beautiful and unique, definitely worth seeing. You can organise tours to there from Ao Nang or Krabi Town or it takes around 40 minutes on a motor scooter to get there from Ao Nang. Subscribe to my channel for more videos on what to do in Ao Nang and Krabi, and Thailand in general. Thai Street Food at a Night Market in Phuket Town, Phuket Thailand. This is Thailand’s famous instant fried ice cream. The vendor places fruit or other flavourings onto a freezing cold plate & tops it with a mix of milk & other ingredients and then dices & mixes it until it becomes ice cream. Like so much other Thai street food, it is delicious! This was filmed at the Phuket Weekend Night Market in Phuket Town, aka Naka Market. You’ll find vendors making this throughout Thailand. It usually costs 40-80 baht depending on how many flavourings you get & where you buy it. Instant fried ice cream on the streets of Thailand!
